Adventure is waiting…
GoPaddle.ie provides kayak and canoe adventures all over Ireland and abroad. In the summer, kayaking tours are operated on the river Slaney, from Edermine or Enniscorthy.
GoPaddle.ie is run by Susan Doyle, a highly experienced Canoeing Ireland qualified whitewater kayaker. Susan loves to travel and explore new rivers, compete in international kayaking races and enjoys teaching people to paddle.
Susan is currently supported by Pyranha Kayaks, NRS and I-Canoe.
Gopaddle.ie trips all take place under the safe eye of Canoeing Ireland qualified instructors. Ratios are small, to ensure all participants receive the personal attention they require.
GoPaddle.ie offer the following adventure trips, courses and events:
- Slaney River Tours: kayak tours on the beautiful Slaney (suitable for beginners).
- Family Fun Sessions: bespoke kayak adventures with the whole family (suitable for beginners and from eight years old)
- Kayak Camps: summer kayak camps for children and teenagers (from eight years of age, separate courses for total beginners and more capable kayakers)

SLANEY RIVER TOURS
Explore the sunny South East from a completely different point of view! Float on the beautiful river Slaney and see places that can only be visited from a kayak! This two-hour trip is suitable for complete beginners, and all specialist kayak equipment is provided. Just bring a swimming costume and old runners. KAYAK CAMPS
This is for kids who want to learn to kayak for real!!! During this four day kayak summer camp (end-of-summer camps are two days), kids from eight years of age will be thought all basic kayak and safety skills. However, their coaches know that learning through games is much more productive than drills, and therefore, the aim of the camp is to have as much FUN as possible!!!
Camps run for three hours per day. Bring togs, old runners, a towel and warm clothes and a snack for afterwards.

FAMILY FUN SESSIONS
Family groups who would like to experience the Slaney River tour together are welcome on the Family Fun sessions. GoPaddle.ie use super stable kayaks and focus on fun and safety so the whole family can enjoy. Children need to be eight years or older (or six years if they are co-paddling with an adult in the front of a double kayak). KAYAK ACADEMY
True kayak addicts can become a member of the Kayak Academy. Trips are organised regularly, with home-grown coaches or special guests. During Kayak Academy events participants are immersed in the greater kayaking family of Ireland, and often, life-long friendships are made during these trips. Each year, Clash Fest provides an opportunity for Academy members and their family to go on an overnight kayak camping trip together and try different styles of kayaking, canoeing and rafting.

COACHING & TRAINING
GoPaddle.ie provides training and assessments for Canoeing Ireland qualifications from level I to IV. Beginners courses (Level I) run over six three hour sessions (evening or weekend), and include the Canoeing Ireland level I assessment. KAYAK TRIPS ABROAD
More experienced kayakers who have learned to paddle on whitewater may be interested in the annual trip to Montenegro. Pristine blue-green water, warm weather and beautiful riverscapes combine with the innate hospitality and quirkiness of the local Montenegrins to offer a really unique experience.
